New York (ChattahBox) - The American Red Cross has kicks off a new promotion to try and increase the number of blood donors during the summer. They are giving blood donors the chance to win free gas.
Those who help out by donating blood will be entered into a drawing to win free gas among other gifts and such. The hope is that this will allow the American Red Cross to keep up with needed blood donations through the summer.

Tens of thousands of more blood donors will be needed through Labor Day for the required blood to help those with medical problems. This promotion could help quite a bit.
